The bridges you drew aren't loading for me... I can't browse to the domain they're hosted at at all :( Can you post them as attachments instead, because I'd really like to see them!

I didn't like it that there were no bridges with colors as blue, cyan or green. So I changed the colors of one of the original bridges. I've made it blue so it can be used as:
- a blue bridge
- a bridge in player color
I don't know if anyone likes it and if anyone can use it.

It is not possible to have a bridge in player colors, hm, at least without patching. You can only make something player color effective when it is supposed to be like that in the program, for example vehicles, some buildings,.. so your bridge will remain blue.

No problem with blue bridges for myself too, I made one too: http://www.tt-forums.net/files/scr14_164.png

That´s why I know that player color bridges don´t work, and that is good in my eyes.

Sorry, you can´t get it anywhere. It is not finished, and I did not work on it for some weeks. Someday I will continue it, and then I will post it.

Hey Stampertie, it may now be possible to have higher bridges that way, they are under development here:
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=6723

And last I looked, eis_os was looking for test-sprites to go with them. So maybe there's a way to get your stone bridge working. Contact him and see.

I made them myself. But, shame on me, I´m currently not in the mood to finish them. And to make it it more worse, I won´t post them 80% done. But someday it will be finished, so be patient.

Hey Born Acorn, looks like you want something to do. Wanna work on the Japan set or the Planeset?

You may do anything you like that hasn't already been done. DanMacK has offered to do all the steamers when the US set is released, but there's a lot, so he won't miss one.

Let's move this conversation into the Japan set thread.

so found these nice bridges, (from the rhatische bahn site, Swiss railway company http://www.rhb.ch )

well looked ok, so started photoshopping :), here's the result

piccy 1, how it would look to have tracks running so high, on a big "slope"

Image

second pic, I added a bow :)

Image

third and final pic, added te small bows and shadows etc. more details are possible on the bridge, but got tired :)

Image

and two last pics, one with ships, and one horizontal flip

I quoted my old post to let everybody see what I was talking about :)

I'd love to get these bridges to work now that it is possible to make higher bridges. anyone able to do this? i'm an ok gfx designer but never did any gfx for transport tycoon, and to be honest I dont think I have enough time to go learn and do all that

anyone who sees a future in these bridges? I'd love to see them work

Now that's one cool bridge! :D There aren't any stone bridges in my game, so I wouldn't mind seing this one included!

Perhaps not soo much shading in between, otherwise very cool! 8)

let's wait for patchman to make them possible... and it's nearly imposible, so I wouldn't see it so hot.

I won't say "impossible", because it has been proven time and time again that "impossible" isn't. However, here are still limitations that exist, in approximate order of difficulty
1) It is not yet possible to add new bridge types to the game, only to replace the ones that already exist.
2) How will this bridge shrink and grow, ie, what will it look like over three consecutive flat squares? One? Four?
3) The graphics you have there will not cooperate well with buildonslopes.

I agree with SAC that the shading under the arches is too dark. But a good bridge nevertheless.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
