Problem with Game Options

Post by Loko »

Hi everyone,

It's not a problem, but it makes me a little nervous.

During the game I want to see all prieces in Euro and have game seved every 3 months. I know what to do - change game options but a new settings arn't saved! Every time after loading saved game I have to change "Game options" again. ( currency unit automaticly goes to Pounds and autosave goes to 12 months). I use load option quite often so changing options is burdensome.

How can I save my Game Options for good?

P.S. I use TTDPatch ver. 2.0.25 for Windows

On another note, the tools menu (with "Display Station Signs, Display Town Names, Full Animation"...), you're options there do not save either. Everytime I load, I have to change the settings.

Save settings.

You have to adjust the game settings and options, before you start a new game.
After that, you can save the game, and all options and settings are saved with the game.

OK, but I was talking about already saved game. I've created large transport network (240 trains, 220 ships, 200 vehicles). I don't want to start a new game.
I've tried to change options in the main (starting) window and then load my game. The settings was changed but after saving and restarting game, "Autosave" goes back to default 12 months.

Besides I've checked the procedure with staring a completly new game. The results are exactly the same. Autosave always goes back to 12 months.

One more thing. The "currency unit" seems to be OK :). Now it stays after saving but "Autosave" don't :(

So what should I do to save "3-months-autosave"?

Nothing really.
That just doesn't work, unless the patchteam decides to change it.
Or you should try to patch it yourself.
