Maybe I can extend my site with a page for graphic requests, members can post ideas (for everybody to read) and other members can react to it and "claim" the project. What do you think :?:

Personally I think that it makes more sense to keep it in the forums. What might make sense, Dinges, would be for your page to have a list of all the currently active forum projects, and their status, with links to the relevant thread. Sometimes it's hard to keep them all straight.

Take a look at the image below. Is this all that needs to be done?

I made a Dutch Railroad Crossing too, but I've not changed all kind of railroad crossings (with lights on, monorail, maglev). But it's a kind of preview. Does anyone like this railroad crossing? (I know there's little changed.)

It looks great.

Do you mean the Dutch railroad crossing or the Japanese train?

Someone filled in the poll that he/she would like to join as an artist. Who's that someone?

Yes, that's exactly what I needed. The side facing right is slightly lighter than the side that faces left; or, the side facing left is slightly darker than the side facing right.

Now we just need the same thing done to all the rest of the trains on there that are coded light-blue.

Thanks!

Purno, are you going to be able to shade any more of the Japan-set trains, or are you tied up in other projects?

Thanks.

I know it's not going very fast, but here's the next one I shadowed: The ED18.

1. I've finished the Dutch Railroad Crossing graphics, but I can't import them in TTD, I can't handle .nfo-files. Can someone else do that?

2. I've drawn Dutch Sign-Posts (they are not very beautiful, I know). I don't know if someone likes them. Anyway, I can't import them too. Maybe someone can help.

Purno, could you also make barriers? I think the level-crossing would look better if you add barriers, like the DBset-crossings have.

I don't know if that is possible. If I add barriers which are open the road vehicle sprite will be placed over the barrier (because it's in the same sprite as the road) in stead of being placed behind the barrier.

So you can only add barriers when the barriers itself are seperated from the rest of the road-sprite. But this might not be possible or if it is, it still needs some .nfo-handling.

Purno, about the ED18 - did you post the right sprites? I can't see any shadowing on what you posted. Or if so, then I think the difference is not great enough to be visible. You can see on the trains in the USset, the difference is actually quite noticeable.

I've shadowed some more trains for the Japanese Railway Set like requested.
Shadowed are:
- Class 40
- ED 18
- EF 10
- EF 66

The zipfile contains .png and .bmp files containing the original and shadowed version of these trains.
