Oops! I had to remove my last attachment because of copyright reasons.

The last attachment did contain my graphics in the DB-Set.

Sorry, I had to remove it.

What to do now? What if I removed all remaining DB-vehicles? Would it be legal then?

Yes, it will be legal then. Add a readme.txt to the ZIP to state it's just an artist impression if you feel uncertain about it.

Okay, I will remove the DB-vehicles and update the resulting .pcx-file asap.

Besides that step, is there any other step I can take for the progress of the Dutch Train Graphic Set?

(I'm not good in any programming  )

Here's the new .pcx-file of the Dutch Trainset.

Now contains extra:
- Readme file
- Copyright info from DBset

Now removed:
- All not-used DB sprites
- ICE
- Thalys

Still includes:
- All Dutch Trains that were included already
- File with used sprite numbers

I have some real vehicle stats of the Dutch Trains.

I don't know if it is usable.

It contains lots of ???s, but maybe someone else can fill the gaps or maybe I have some info someone needs.

It only contains info about:
- Release Year
- Running Fuel (Diesel/Electric)
- Capacity (Passengers)
- Top Speed
- Weight
- Horse Power (there are lots of ???s here)
- Real Possible Consists (I think lots are missing)

The attachment is a .zip-file containing an index.html file and some images used for showing the consists.

Is this anyway useful?

I got the info from some websites and I got lots of info of a little folder from the NS with info (and pictures) of the trains they used like 10-15 years ago.

Besides that I used pictures from a modeltrains-catalog and from The European Railway Server for drawing the graphics.

Broodje said my 1600 and DD-AR needed some adjustment, I've changed them a little. Is this better?

I adjusted the DD-AR front windows, the headlight and the blue stripes of the rear end.

And the 1600 now has some light-effect on the front, so it is less cubic now.

Purno,

Your DDAR is better, but still not good. Your singledeck frontcar (the motorcar mDDM) has no panto's, but your doubledeck steeringcar (the Bvk) has panto's.
In the reality is it the opposite: the motorcoach has panto's and the steeringcar has no panto's.

If you don't understand what I mean. I've here some images:
The steeringcar
The motorcar

Can you see what I mean?

For the rest I like your set very much and I can't wait until the release! :D

I see.

I've switched the panto's. Shouldn't I switch headlights as well?

Because the one with white lights can be replaced by a 1600. So when I do that, I've two engines. Am I right?

And is the 1600 any better?

Yes, in my opinion you must switch the headlights too.

You can have the DDAR in this composition:

Or in this composition:

You see that there aren't two engines in a DDAR-train, except when you have two trainsets coupled, like this:

Okay,

I've switched the headlights and I've adjusted the DD-AR engine.

Any better now?

By the way: Why is no-one saying something about the 1600?

if you have the NFO, it's really not that hard to compile the GRF :)

just grfcodec -e blabla.grf :)

the NFO is the problem, it's very difficult to make a NFO file. Once made you can use grfcodec to encode the GRF file.

Broodje and I have been discussing the need for a list of what we want in the NSset, what's currently under construction and what isn't (yet). I proudly unveil this spreadsheet for all who take interest in making grf's for the NSset.

I cannot stress the importance of contacting broodje or me for additions to the list. If we all start editing the file there will be numerous versions if it in no time. That's NOT what I want. So please PM or email broodje or me. If there do appear multiple version of this list that are not edited by me or broodje I will remove the list. Call it strict but I have experience in how shared files grow their own legs.

Edit (02-04-'04): Old spreadsheet removed.
