Try and find a decent codec (don't know what DivX is like on screen captures) and encode it to save space.

It seems like most of the people think that, if you would post the movie, it will be uploaded to this forum's webspace... well, that's not the point people ! You can also upload this movie to your OWN webspace, and provide us with a link to it ! That should do to !

I don't get it why the board owner reservers server-space for pictures anyway, why not just upload them to http://www.theforumisdown.com/upload/upload.php or anywhere ? Certainly would create a much smaller load, quickening the board a lot probably !

I think the last thing is wrong in some way... cause If anyone wants to see the pics then you have to make a connection to 2 servers.. one this board .. and the otherone with the pics... that would slow things down especially for those on 56k.....

Nope, 2MB is the absolute limit, as defined by the php.ini file.

Yes, the file could be RARed and split while compressing, for example.
