Looking for a nice pack with IS/DL and very stable

Post by XaTriX »

Hi' there!

I'm looking for a very nice pack/set with Infrastructure Sharing, DayLength and good multiplayer stability through the hundreds of years ! We want to play again but also want to avoid desync after a while :/
We're open to nice industries addons :D

There's only one OpenTTD fork that provides those, JGR Patch Pack. There's a dedicated topic here with links to the downloads.

Thanks, i'm looking into it (again, i remembered it!).

Is there any chance that DS or IS will be implemented in main OpenTTD ?

i've seen no movement in terms of IS in a very long time. there have been some attempts at a new approach to DL, though.

That's odd, i really think that IS and DL are great features and a nice step into new gameplays for our mighty and great ottd <3

yes. they are powerful features. but the current implementations have known issues that aren't trivially resolved. so if nobody resolves them by rebuilding it properly from the ground up, inclusion in main OpenTTD isn't on the picture.
