Trains don't travel despite free lanes

Hi,
I am puzzling about those trains. There are 3 free lanes to the right, but all trains tell me, that they are waiting for a free lane.
What's going on there?

That can depend on what happens further down the track. Can you post a screenshot showing more of your network up to the right, or even better your full save game?

i haven't looked at your savegame, but it looks like you have 3 station tracks, and 1 track without a station. if the trains don't have a station in their order, they try to avoid the station altogether, so they all try to squeeze through that 1 other track.

it might need some heavy tweaking of pathfinder penalties to get this particular setup to work properly.

Train in upper side can't go forward as the three trains are in the way. The three trains are waiting for the upper train to leave so they can use the station bypass track since they refuse to go through the station when there is a bypass track.
