Dos patch 2alpha7,8 and 9 don't run

For some reason patch 2alpha7,8 and 9 don't run on my system X(
How to solve this :?:
An other point; is it possible to change from Dos to a Windows game and keeping your saved games :?:

Try deleting ttdload.ovl, see if it helps.

I did, no result, my computer wants to shut down and start in MS-Dos mode, but was not able to run the game and hung up.
Normaly i start TTD by a shortcut on my desktop in windows. this worked and works fine untill patch alpha6. I tryed alpha9 this morning CRASH :!:
It has to do something with the patch. :(

Hmm, if you have the file, try deleting ttdpatch.dat. Otherwise reinstall TTD. I don't know what else could cause this...

what are you looking at? it's a signature!

YES, YES, YES It works :!: :!: I had to
A: reinstall TTD,
B: remove .ovl (i had rebuild ovl in the .cfg file, set but had te remove it any way)
C: i found a TTDxc.ini file on my C drive, i deleted this to, and this one has come new after i started TTD succes fully.
Now funning 2 alpha 9 :] :] :].

Well i couldnt find TTDPTTXT.DAT don't have it!!

Wow it seems you've been using TTDX Configurator since long ago. It's been almost a year since TTDXC discontinued saving settings in that file. Then it used the win.ini file but now it uses the windows registry.

in short words: that file (ttdxc.ini) is from old TTDX Configurator (simple: get newer version)

So after i have installed the newer version of ttdxc i can delete this .ini file at my C station :?:
