Hello :)

I like play with my friend in Open TDD.

But we use now only car :(

Cars - > best balanced

Train -> one train for 150 k PLN on one way generated 100/150k PLN, when I have 20 train carriage weigth.

Airplanes -> when I turn on the cost of infrastructure maintenance, Annual maintenance of airports is 1 mln PLN is best option. I slowed down the flights of aircraft, and now for 2 airports must use 3 or 6 aircraft ;) nice option

Ships -> we play on maps witch no water

We play on integrated infrastructure costs.

And now pls help me, how to set options for trains to increase the maintenance costs of trains and reduce their income?

The screenshot you can see that we play on cars is the cost of maintaining vehicles and infrastructure is about 1/5 or 1/4 of the profits.

When the train is not even 1/10 and just build one or two trains causes of such income that spoils the game.


Sorry for my English. I try to do my best, but I'm still making mistakes.

Add a basecost grf, and you can tune pretty much all costs, afaik.
Being a retired OpenTTD developer does not mean I know what I am doing.
