Hi people,

I wanted to share screenshots of my games on here.

My first screenshot is a BPS station (not a PBS station :wink: ). It was working quite well, until I got more trains. Now the exit is a little jammed, but that's mostly because I only got room for a 1 track mainline (not in this image). 90 trains drop their stuff and pick up their stuff here.

This is on the reddit hard server.

It didn't go quite as planned. Everytime every platform was full and all trains were loading, a new train would randomly choose a platform and jam the cr*p out of this station. So I changed the layout a little.

First I thought Path signals would suffice, but that wasn't very efficient. So I changed it back to pre signals, but I left the balancing out.

I've built checkpoints, because everytime a oil well decides to produce less than before, less oil would came in and the outtake of the refinary would go down. That causes outtake trains to stay in their platform and prevent 1/3 of the intake trains from going in. There are almost 200 trains with this station in their orders.

Remade the entrance and now it is quite efficient. No jamming at all and but a few trains in the station. I can expand now. I hope it works well with 300-400 trains, time will tell...

To let my trains reach the station very well, I needed to let them to the outer line of my main line. The inner is much faster, because of less trains breaking en jamming at stations, the outer has the connections to the stations. First I let them choose their path by simple crossing over. It was horrible, trains were constantly jamming. So I made this. I don't know if it already exists and if it has a name, but it's working very well for me!

Interesting, you may want to checkout http://wiki.openttdcoop.org/Main_Page if it exists, it's there :)

I can't find it there, but it's fairly simple, so maybe they didn't find it worth mentioning.
