Full Screen?
I simply cannot get this game to run in full screen mode.
Can someone help me?
I'm running TTDX for windows with the 2000 patch on it, i.e. You run the patch which runs the game.

Windows 2000 ?
I have XP and I can play with the compatibility settings
In older versions of the patch I had to set it to win95 or win98 to get full screen
But with the newer version of the patch , that's no longer needed
I only have to use the ttconfig program to set it to full screen and it works
If you don't have the latest patch, then you might look for that
But I once read somewhere that you may need the latest service pack of windows 2000
I could be wrong, but have you got it ?
Have you tried searching for a similar topic ?

The newest is 2.somethingLord Mick wrote:I'm running version 1.9 of the patch, is there a newer one?
If I run the TTconfig program and save the settings, it just doesn't make any difference, and i cant seem to find compatability mode anywhere.
Mick
The compatibility mode is righftclick tt patch, properties, kompatibility, the rest is obeus
Alcohol is not the answer, it just makes you forget the question.

I just checked and I can't find comp. settings in Win2k, so that doesn't work
Ah ha! Enabling Windows 2000 compatability mode:
http://searchwin2000.techtarget.com/tip ... 84,00.html
but the idiot who wrote that got it wrong, it should be:
regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

I have solved my problem.
You CAN run a program win windows 2000 in compatability mode. But only from a shortcut.
Click Start>Run and type in:
regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll
(You need service pack 2 or higher)
Then make a shortcut to ttdpatchw on your desktop
Right click on the shortcut and the will now be a Compatability tab, select it and select Windows 95 compatabilty. Click Ok.
Run the shortcut and the game runs full-screen!|
