@LocoRoller
The problem is that when a train happens to wait to long at the signal after it, then it turns around, as you probably know. When that happens and there's a one-way signal it stops at that point to follow the correct route again. With a both way signal it CAN run through the last section it was instead of going back the follow the correct route again and can mess up the whole system. A trick I often use is using the gantries as eye candy and putting a small dwarf signal in front of it to make it a one-way signal, the gantry is actually not used as a signal in that way, but in my opinion it looks better like that.
Don't have access to my screenshot folder at the moment, but when I have and you're still interested I could post one.

@IA
Oh god, should have known that years ago. I have been hassling with that since I've got it around the release date. :roll: It makes sense though, and it looks better too.

Nice station in the 1910 pic! Where did you find the platform roof, though? I don't recognize that from the UK Stations set.

Yes it is. The only thing needed is a good stairs, but I don't know if they have been made.

Also funny that DJC also uses that type of 'road' to separate the buildings from the station, I do the same.

The platform roof is a little something I made myself using some of the default station graphics.

Thanks for the comments guys, some more shots of Lutterworth in part 4.

I have to agree unfortunately, it's also not very realistic. Though it's true that it's difficult to make a good looking network in this game.

Haha, well the junctions are more for functionality than beauty, have to say I wasn't happy with the first one which didn't work well at all. I'm pretty satisfied with the second attempt, though I guess it does look like a sprawling mess of lines.

It's a mod that allows you to make trains go in circles forever.

Did I fool you for a second? I didn't think so.

Here is what I am actually releasing, a pack of 3 vehicles to make the Amtrak Cascades Talgo Trainset.
