OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
Hello all,
Welcome to my screenshot thread. Ive been thinking about my own thread for a long time, so here it is. I mainly play sort of realistic but. Currently, I am busy with the French scenario and due to the absence of a French train set, I am using the great 2cc train set. For any other grf´s I use in this game, please ask.
This scenario is a very large WIP. I have completed the main line from Paris to Marseille, including the LGV Sud-Est, LGV Rhone-Alpes and LGV Méditerranée. There are also some Transillien services in the south east of Paris. Further, I have completed the lines in the French Alpes. Next to build is the line from Lyon to Saint Etienne and after that I will expand the railways from Dijon to the east, into the Jura and Vosges.

Nice screens
But why not let the trains drive on left, just as in reality?

In France trains drive on the left, with the exception of some lines in Alsace.Jacko wrote:In reality they also go on the right, such as in Europe or USA, for example.Brundd wrote:Nice screens![]()

Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
Yes, French trains run indeed on the left side. However, it is really confusing to me to work like that, so I stick to right side traffic. And as promised, some more screens!

The right track on the NE exit of Chambery has a signal at a strange position. It is the one directly after the x-crossing, I would have placed that signal to the other junction so that trains don't have to stop on the x.

The bridge set is somewhere in the TBRS thread, dont know where I found it exactly.
About the signal, I see your point, but there is not much traffic on this line, so I never get any delays and jams.

Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
So, here I am with a new update. With the lines in the Alpes completed, I moved to the lines east of Dijon. I have constructed the lines Dijon-Dole-Besancon-Belfort-Mulhouse, Dijon-Dole-Frasne-Neuchatel, Frasne-Lausanne, Dijon-Bourg-en-Bresse, Bourg-en-Bresse- Lons-le-Saulnier- Arc-et-Senans- Besancon. Arfter these conventional railways, I´ve build the LGV Rhin-Rhone.
Most lines from Gare de Lyon are now finished, so I moved on to Paris Est. I´ve build the first non-electrified mainline of the map, from Paris Est to Troyes, Vesoul and Belfort.
Enjoy the screenshots!
