I'll spend £6 on 3 beers, by which point and I'll be drunk and passed out on the floor. By which JGR would have already persuaded me to don a tail and have a catfight with him. I'll be looking at attending this year. Travelling in from New Street on the day.

This might be my last TT-Forums meet. Maybe if 2013 is back in London and we have a full complement of some heroes from down the years...

I'm definitely not coming, under 18 and not enough plus no cooperation from my parents
maybe over a couple years

recently aquired the FCE
Re: TT Meet 2012 - Crewe - 25/08/12 - PLEASE SIGN UP
How firm exactly is the age-limit thing? I'll be 16 and would like to come, but I doubt I could persuade a parent to travel for hours in each direction for a forum meet
. If it's relevant, I've spent a lot of time travelling around on my own - mainly looking at trains

FLHerne - It's mainly the legal issue if you're under 18. Plus as, from what I can tell, most meeting places are pubs with people who are over 18 you'll need a legal guardian with you from what I can tell.

Perhaps people can badger Dom to organise a London meet in 2013. Although his hands are probably quite full these days! Of course somebody else could always volunteer...
But let's get the 2012 meet done first.

However, being as I am, I feel a bit incompetent to organise such a meet. We'll just have a look round the LT Transport Museum.
And before you ask, I'm not volunteering..... yet.

No, he means organise - which I will possibly do depending on how busy I am at work.

Train tickets will be on sale for the meet dates soon, don't forget! If I hear anybody saying "oh, but the tickets are too expensive!" on the 23rd of August, then you can't say I didn't give you fair warning that they were on sale!

I've just realised that I may be able to make this afterall. Plans have changed somewhat and I may be in Wolves

£22.80 isn't too bad from Huddersfield, and that's an OPR. Might be able to get it down a bit more nearer the time. Will see you there barring hell or high water (or a cruel draw for next season's fixtures!)
