I see. Thanks Kamnet. Perhaps someone could have a look at the titles and alignments? I don't really like the text in the cells being center aligned but could only manage to change the alignment of the cell titles.

I left the titles center-aligned, but all the rest of the table text I've aligned to the left. I think I personally like that better.

Does anyone know why I get this:

"The website encountered an error while retrieving http://wiki.openttd.org/?title=NewGRF_L ... ion=submit. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly."

as a Google Chrome web page error every time I try and preview the Wiki page after an edit? I am doing very basic things so I cannot have broken the page.

[EDIT] I also get a HTTP 500: Page Cannot Be Displayed.

Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error

error in IE. All I need to do is start editing, start a new bullet point and press preview and I get those errors.

I just tried in Chrome, IE and Firefox, all came up fine. Most likely you there was either a problem with the server or a router somewhere on your connection, and your browser was pulling up the cached version of the wiki.

GAAAAH! I've suckered myself in to improving this wiki, and now I can't stop!!!!

The brilliant thing about this is that I have this memory of so many NewGRFs over the years, it's nice to get this list put down and organized someplace. I've updated the wiki adding new content and re-arranging some of the sub-sections. I moved all the rail-related content to the first row since it's the most numerous, and what users will likely be looking for the most. Where appropriate, I'm also breaking down content by groupings, such as continents & countries. Later I'll jump into expanding the country-specific NewGRF wiki pages.

Yes, unfortunately. The original file from RobC is an ancient EXE file. Somebody in another thread converted it over to a NewGRF, but IIRC it no longer operates correctly, somebody else fixed that in yet another thread that I've not found yet. The version linked to on the Wiki is the same one linked to on GRFCrawler.

Oh, that's right, I forgot that this started out as a posting in the forums. Maintenance of the list moved entirely to the wiki so that individuals could update and maintain it themselves.
