Only trains generate a profit

Hi, since the installation of the latest version of TTD, I am able to make profits only with trains whereas all other modes of transport lead to a loss. This is irrespective of the distance and availability of product. It seems that their usage costs outweigh any income generated. What could I be doing wrong or is there any setting I need to change so that all modes of transport generate an income. Thanks

Do you have a save from the same game from where it was working right in the previous version and one not working in the current version?
