None taken FooBar Theese ones look rather great I'll just incorporate my sprites to the 2cc set or something
And the pax coaches, in the \ view are there some "separation lines", but on the / arent it there... I suppose its ment to be the lines, but you seem to forgot, or something?

Re: [8bpp] Graphics Replacement Project - OpenGFX
Thanks for the great comments guys. It's been a few years since I last did some serious TTD graphics.
I have attached the sprites for the next bunch of sprites. Hopefully the carriage spacing issue is fixed. I've also done the Millennium "Z1" and pegasus sprites.

Well, I thought about this, but the remaining three (1 mono 2 maglev engines) I plan not to use white, as with the Pegasus. It may be a plan to use the existing committed monlev vehicles for these. I only wanted to advance the passenger vehicles as they would be the thing you would most expect to see looking new and shiny in 2020.Ammler wrote:They look very nice, I guess, beside the passenger waggons, we would need the mail and goods/valuables in that livery. The rest could be used from existing rail. What do you think?
If you want someone to make a preview newgrf, please post the single sprites.

Edit, the sizes of the sprites do differ to the originals, therefor, it would need a bit further adjustment, not sure if possible at all?

Re: [8bpp] Graphics Replacement Project - OpenGFX
Hi, I have lot of time now during the summer school holiday, so would like to ask which parts of graphics aren't done yet. I would like to make 3D models or (and that's the worse part) I would try to code. So if you want you can give me some pictures and i try to do something.
PS: on wiki unimaginable for me to recognise what is claimed and what not and what parts are not yet done.

Re: [8bpp] Graphics Replacement Project - OpenGFX
You're right, the wiki is a bit confusing, and not necessarily completly up to date as things get claimed... but then things stall.
Visit us on the DevZone where we have our most current tracker and the development repository. A list of all sprites is here:
http://openttd.jaspervries.nl/opengfx/a ... objectives
Those which are missing have a black box shown in the OpenGFX line. Looking at the features still needed http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/ope ... acker_id=2 you'll notice that a few are only claimed. You can also find us on IRC of oftc.net in #openttdcoop.devzone

Re: [8bpp] Graphics Replacement Project - OpenGFX
This might take some doing as the existing sprites are based around the existing sizes, which I tried to use from the existing OpenGFX train sizes, but this has gone wrong by one pixel in some views, but not most of them.Ammler wrote:mäh

I'm going to have to redraw the offending sprites.
Re: [8bpp] Graphics Replacement Project - OpenGFX
I have changed the x-offset of some pax waggons, seems better now. (in the grf above.)
I like the adjacent waggons more then the big gap from the original or blaubus.
Born Acron, will you also make the other missing monolev engines?
Gen.Sniper, don't give up, it looks already very nice.

2 Ammler: I don't give up this. It's fun for me but I am better beginner with 3DS max so most of my time looks like this: "what is this?.....oops...maybe it will be this one....oops...no it isn't... more by PM

Three down, three to go!
Here are the fixed sprites for the Chimera and the passenger carriage. I've checked the sizes against existing OpenGFX sprites and these should check out.

Right, a preview of a faithful remaking of the X2001 Monorail Vehicle, the first available monorail vehicle.
Changes include the standard yellow stripe inclusive to all monolev vehicles, and the standard monolev wheelset/base.

It looks very (too) colorful imo. Also it looks like you emphasize the borders, which makes it look comic-ish.
