The fallback only works when the base set knows where a sprite should be, but doesn't have a graphic for it. zBase isn't aware of the new sprites, period, so it can't fall back on OpenGFX graphics for it.

Alright well, just going to use opengfx then.
On another note: I recently had a crash during autosave and when I went back into the game a lot of my advanced settings had reset to default. How do I prevent that and where are the new advanced settings saved? The openttd.cfg only seems to contain the base game settings and it seems the only ones that reverted were the patch settings.

has there been anymore development with the loading save game bug? i tried to load a game that i started with ..182 which gave an invalid chunk size error however i was able to load it on ..143
even the autosaved files had this error
in addition i was getting a configuration error when starting ..182 "economy.pay_for_repair = false" was and invalid value

Holy hell. been a year since I last logged in. well got a bug report for ya peeps. and its for the december 2014 version. zoom all the way out to extra viewport mode. Hold control and use the mousewheel. the game will crash. Im not sure why it does that but me and some buds had to downgrade to 2.1.143 version since that works

Any reason I can't change the daylength factor in a saved game or previously made scenario in the two newer (2.1 and 2.2) versions?
Played a game at my brothers place, took it home, and it was set to 10 DLF, which is way too fast for my liking.
I played the 1.7 till like last week, but it was so sluggish above 2k maps even on a newer Core i7 6-core @ 4GHz and 16GB ram. People said it was the map size. It was the version. Anyways, I wanna change the daylength factor in a save. How?
EDIT: Read the original changelog from the russian site pi1985 is on, and saw that he did it on purpose. Why, I don't know. But this breaks ALL scenarios made with earlier versions of the patch pack that had a set daylength. All mine had 10 because the game was so sluggish with 4000x4000 maps. But in the newer version it runs much better, so 10 is way too low for me. I'd rather have like 25. But this means I have to go into the converter, open every scenario, change the daylength, save it, copy it over. It just broke absolutely every scenario I got, basicly.

A quick thank you for the Patch Pack, you all have rekindled a man's love for this great game!
So I have a bug, some mention has been made of it but I have found no fix recommendations of yet, except a wild shot of removing long tunnels from under populated cities which proved fruitless.
Lag spikes started occouring during gameplay.
I loaded an earlier instance of the game (Attached) and the problem does'nt reoccour regardless of my actions.
Anyone know how the problem is caused? Any info to avoid for future reference.
I7 8gb etc etc comp not source of issue.

** starting Vehicle routes on one way roads seem to make the problem occur/worsen.

The issue happens when Vehicles have a route distance of over 300 or so tiles.
Is this an issue with the YAPF pathfinding? or a limitation of the game itself..?

Ah, found the problem.

How come there are no subsidies or alerts for new vehicles? Is this a bug or is this intended?

If you play with CargoDist enabled, subsidies are disabled. That's standard OpenTTD behavior. If you would like to see subsidies, look into using a GameScript.
If you're not getting notifications about vehicles, you may need to change your notification preferences. You can find that in the Advanced Settings menu.

If you're not the leading company on the leaderboard, or if you have recently accepted an offer to test and not bought the vehicle, you won't get these offers - that's a TTD feature.Whitefang wrote:What I meant was that I'm not getting the chance to 'test' the vehicles. Thanks for the reply though

In 2.2.182, passenger generation is absurd in multiplayer. It is normal when playing singly, but in multiplayer it suddenly explodes to ridiculous levels.

in a version 2.2.182 an error takes off at to the start - an error is in the file of configuration... incorrect value false parameter "economy.pay_for_repair"
