It can convert a scenario created with Spring Patch and use it in the normal official version?

So i loaded opengfx-nightly (5426) and put it in the baseset folder but i still get weird icons. See picture.
Sorry if it has been asked before.

The best version is the v2.1.143, Those who came later have problems

Yes, there is another section for reporting bugs, but this bug is specific to the Spring 2013 Patch Pack.

Reporting a bug of some sort. When I went to load my game today, I got an error: "broken savegame invalid chunk size"
Some info on the game. Using the original version of patch pack "OpenTTD Spring 2013 Patchpack v2.0.103 Full win64"
I have been using this same version since I downloaded Feb 2014. I started a new map from a custom made height map, custom made the map in scenario editor. Then played the game for about a month in Feb 2014, again for a month in July, then again loaded and look at the game 6 Feb 2015. I tried to load game today (17 Feb) and I get above mentioned error.

What I tried. Remove a few content downloads I added in the last few weeks. Error, remove all since before 6 Feb 2015 (When it last started successfully) Created a new windows user, did a clean install on the new user, downloaded required stuff, copied game file to save folder, still get error.

I have roughly 30 saves from over the last 12 months. They all have same error when I click on them to load. Not all could have been corrupted exactly the same.

Tried new 2.2.182 version today, same error. I can only think that maybe it is a Windows update, as that’s all that may have changed. Has anyone else had an issue like this?

Oh, and all my regular Ottd games load OK in regular Ottd.

The problem is not with the installation of the patch pack, downloaded NewGRFs or Windows itself, it is with the saved file. As the error indicates, it is broken. You can try uploading it here and somebody may be able to analyze it and fix it.

Here is the file. No pressure, sure it was my favourite game. Had a nice 4x slower game with massive hills. Wont kill me if it's unrecoverable.

What is most interesting is why all 35 previous saves are all corrupted. There have been no viruses as far as I know. Most, if not all have not been used since being saved.

All my 1.4.4 vanilla Ottd games still run. (In 1.4.4)

this error typicaly occures when you try to load a patched savgame in a different patch(pack) version that does not ensure savegame compatibility.

make sure you load it in the right version that you created the savegame with.

There's one born every day, and today, I'm it.

I finally discovered the game is not the Patch Pack, but "Yet Another Patch Pack based on YACD"

I could not work out why the "Outgoing cargo last month" was not appearing in the Town Window.

It's the "YACD - Yet Another CargoDestinations" that I love so much, being able to plan my transport.

Sure.
Once itwas working without any issue but when tried again on the same clear save it was broken again.

I do not I build. How can I get positive for Spring 2013 Patchpack v2.2.182 Full win64 - patch copy / paste r26400 The Clipboard?

Every time I run the game I get the missing sprites warning and there's a question mark icon where the X should be for the windows. It fixes if I go into newGFR settings and then go back to the main menu. Is there anyway to permanently fix this so I don't have to do that every time I run the game?

It seems if I start a new game the X becomes a question mark again. I've got OpenGFX Night as well.

You'll need some knowledge of c++ programming as well as the ability to properly merge patch code into source code. Considering the number of changes Pi1985 has already made to the OpenTTD source code, this is likely not going to be an easy task for many except for the author.

I'm using zbase. Is that the problem? When I load openGFX it just shows an empty circle instead of an X. With zbase it fixes when I go into newGRF Settings and stays fixed until I start a new game.

it's not a problem per se. but updating opengfx won't do anything if you use zbase. you obviously need to update zbase instead.

Oh does this not use the fallback system? Where if something doesn't exist in the current set, it uses the default set for that particular file?

Regardless, I don't understand why the zbase I have works with 5.x and 4.x and not this compilation which I can only assume was compiled from 3.x.x unless the location of the X button changed from 3 to 4...

I just checked and it looks like I have the latest zBase :\
