Video Card Benchmark

Okay, just for fun benchmark your Videocard, too see witch of us has the best performing game PC.

If you want to participate then I recommend using Futuremark 3D Mark '03 benchmarking software (the free version) since it's a good and reliable benchmarking tool and version '03 is for the most standard videocards ATM. If you want your own software instead than that's not a problem at all of course.

My results in 3D Mark '03:
PC Athlon 2500+ 1,1GHZ
ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB
3D Marks: 3398 (Average score)

PC Athlon 2600+ 2,2GHZ
Nvidia GForce FX 5900XT 128MB
3D Marks: 4607 (Average score)

So my second PC is the best.

And that's with a 3DMark that doesn't take dualcore into account, 77.77 (old) gfx drivers and two monitors. I'll fix those tomorrow (Battlefield Vietnam only works with old drivers

) and try again

I knew it was worth it, getting this computer

I don't feel like running those tests again ....

I had around 9000 last time I checked

right after a fresh install...

amd64 3200+ (clocked to 2600mhz)
1.5GB ram (3x 512)
XFX GF6800GT
using twinview (degrades the performance a tiny bit )

ok, dual core is useless for gaming and will be for some time, and using 3D mark 03 is what a n00b would do

If you really want to test your system go and run 3D mark 06

It made my PC run away and cry. But in 3D mark 05 i got on a

P4 3GHz (presscoot) 800mhz FSB 1mb cache (i wish i went AMD, i was such a noob back then

)
Albatron 128mb 6600GT (no OC, stock cooling)
1GB of good old generic DDR400 PC3200 (2* 512 sticks in dual)
ASUS P4800-E mobo
80GB WD harddrive
Pioneer 109

In 3D mark 05 = 3199 3D marks. No one should be using 03, you can get a trial for 05 and 06, you should at least run 05, and if you have 7800GT or better, run 06 and cry at the score.

*edit* Give up on BF:V man it is absoulte trash compared to BF2. Stat tracking and a hell of a lot faster

I updated to latest drivers and ran 3DMark06

I got a nice pretty 0 FPS on the CPU bit, but am quite satisfied with the 3695 points I got overall.

And about BFV, It came with three CDs, can be played on the other computers here, but I guess I won't be able to play it with my friends here anymore now.

Computer I just built for my brother got a 3dmark'06 of 4099. I still need to tighten timings and overclock it tho.

I shall greatly enjoy playing games on it!

Sure that's 3DMark06? Because I really (really) doubt it, seeing as how the best score in the world is only 11934 points.
There is also no way in hell that that first computer would reach 2378 points...
