Crazy Vaclav, can you do the "Darwin 300", also known as the Boeing 747? Seeing the quality of the other planes you made, I would like to see you do it.

I have also added real plane names using the Original Vehicle names language file, and sources on TTO vehicle names to the wiki, in brackets. Hopefully this will make it easier for artists to draw when two similarly named planes have the same sprite currently.

Wow. Your planes = the best.

I like how they are untextured, it allows for later deciding on things (2 or more company colours, how to handle windows on frieght planes)

p.s. totally agree with Born Acorn

I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you. Spoilers and bodykits are how much of the wall you take with you. Rollcages and windownets are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

Crazy Vaclav could make them, but because they aren't original vehicles in the game now, they wouldn't be added until vehicle slots are expanded. For this reason, we need complete vehicle replacements before starting to think of new vehicles.

(Here is a list of vehicles currently ingame that need replacing)

Someone has made a mistake, and I sure hope it isn't me (but it probably is...). I was going to update the wiki with the Bae 146 when I noticed the picture that had been put there (see below). When I searched for Bae 146 I only got pictures of the plane I have made. If it is not the Bae 146 I have made, I don't know what it should look like.

Yes, thats the 146 alright. Don't pay any attention to the TTD sprites. It seems CS cut corners and re-used sprites.

(They are only there to get a basic idea of the plane type, but reference photos fo a better job)

I realized after I had made the post that the name of the reference picture was the same as for the caravelle, so it all worked out in the end.

There are 41 airplane slots in every climate. No climate has 41 default planes.

If I were so inclined, I could create a newgrf with 164 planes. Admittedly, only 41 would be available in each climate, but there would be 164 unique planes.

So, why should 32 bpp be limited in a way that newgrf is not?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

I've noticed that the oil refinery is not 4*4 squares, but 4*3 squares. Should the new model be this way too?

Why wouldn't it be free? Afaik, all the these graphics are intended for being freely distributed with the game.

I hadn't noticed that before. So, should I create tiles that can be rearranged as needed, or should I just do a couple of versions with different number of tiles? So far I have seen 3*4 and 3*5 tiles.

tilable, and rearrangeable. this means we will not be limited to current layouts.

keep elements as seperate as possible, they can be in any multiple of sqaures you like.

silos, buildings.... should be on their own tiles if possible.

I would also like to suggest the "Over the shoulder sessions" you find on this site. You really learn a lot from them.

I noticed the new Coleman Count/Vickers Viscount on the Wiki, great work. I always liked the Vickers Viscount, and I use it (with small airports always and vehciles never expire) well into the 21st centuary.
