Thanks Eddi for .. when I first started usuing the 2ccts.nml to learn what to do, I just copied everything Transportman had down to the first few trains and practiced till I got it to work.
Then I made templates for each type of vehicle as separate text files and just copy these over to my nml file as needed and fill in the blanks.
Because all was working I never scrolled all the way down to the bottom and seen the sort(FEAT_TRAINS, he had there.
You just proved that can teach an old dog some new tricks.
Thank you kindly.
Now as for sorting, I think a combination of what Andythenorth and Nekomaster ideas.
Steam: Sort by company and in release date order.
Diesel: Sort by company and in release date order.
Multi-units such as
Those that has there own power unit and coaches, such as XPT, Silver City Comet and 400 class Railbus.
DMUs with the Steam Railbus and Diesel Railbus first.
EMUs with Electric Railbus first.
Then coaches in release date order until such time I start getting some from other companies.
Then Wagons.
Thanks fellas for your support.
On a different subject .. Some sprites I found on the forum
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=38192 I sent PM and emails to those involved several weeks ago but had no replay.
I see that site been inactive since 2008 and so have many of those involved in it. So those sprites don't go to waste I intend to start using them, and leave a reference on the sprites who made the original and also leave credit it the readme and changelog files of my sets, and also on this forum. I think those fellas would appreciate it if they seen their efforts at long last came to good use.
