You mean SC 3000, right?

Yes, we can use a pagoda for the church. And we can use one of those red Asian gates, or a rock garden, for some of the park/plaza tiles.

Yes, I meant SC3000. I think their Asian buildings are a little generic, but they are a good place to start. Even their apartments buildings/office complexes look subtly different, more concrete-y somehow, but also more random with different looking signs (vertical, not horizontal) and suchlike.

Is there a sound editing program for TTD? If so, we can use the digitized Japanese train sounds from Microsoft Train Simulator. Unless someone has a better idea.

Daid, I still can't get the ZIP file. Your page won't let me download it, it gives me an error message, either way I try to get it.

G*d d*m, f*cking tripod.

Well, lets see, it's just over 2 MB, so mailing/posting here can't de done. (Why is it so feaking huge :S) I'll put a link at http://members.lycos.nl/schoolwerk1/dai ... Index.html so you can download it (it's at the top)

Also updated my Industry picture, and yes, there was electricity back in 1930. The Purple stuff is just sugjections, and the green underlined stuff can be left in.

I liked those mini mills and the other stuff more, they are more different from the other climates.

Daid, I hate to be a nag, but I still can't get your file download to work.

My e-mail should accept files of this size, I've done it before. Is it that your mail server won't let you send files this size?

Is anyone else able to download the file, and the trouble is at my end?

electronics in 1930?
hmmm
vaccum tubes
crystal radio
kitchen appliances

light bulbs (could involve a silica-tungsten vector & give you a early analog to the vibration proofed cars needed for silicon chips)

I have borrowed Daid's excellent Toyland organizational chart, and put on it all my proposed industry vectors. I have the file as a vector graphic so I can easily change the labels as we make final decisions, so this isn't set in stone. I tried to adjust the Hi-Tech vector so it doesn't look totally out of place in 1930 - remember, they did manufacture electronic components out of Ore and Sand in 1930 (vacuum tubes and wiring) and also today (silicon chips and, well, wiring). And they had an export market back then like they do today, not as big of course, but it existed.
