Pictures of your junctions
Small Junction, I have designed...
Currently handels 9 trains. (3 from each side),
Top Left is where they all go (Power Station).
Not the best design, but it orginally didn't branch to the top right.
Based of a compact design I used when managing an AI company a while back. (Due to lack of funds and lack of space).
Please Note. These Finnish Set Vehicles are not avaible to public.

TTDpatch Developer 2005 - 2010 ~ It all started because of shortened vehicle not loading correctly, now look where I've gone with it!
Grfs coded ~ Finnish Train Set (Teaser) | Bm73 (Release 3) | Emu 680 (Release 3)| Glass Station (Release 1) | UK Roadset (Version 1.1a) | New Water Coasts (Version 7)
Pikka: "Lakie's a good coder, but before he'll add any feature to TTDP you have to convince him that you're not going to use it to destroy the world as we know it."

[Off Topic]Actually the maxium is a station of length 15 (30 vehicles).
So he could have slightly longger trains...[/Off Topic]
Some *interesting* Junctions there. Although, depending on which 'enhancement' you are using, those pbs set ups may be heavily flawed.
TTDpatch's pbs can only see 7 junction tiles ahead, and some of those junctions have many more than 7 junction tiles in them which a train may have to cross, and won't work properly, I guess.
I'm not too sure about the limitations of OpenTTD's pbs though.

@slayer:
Personally, I would not use it. Notice how the inner tracks (the ones in the tunnels) form a loop. That is a potential spot for jams. If you read some of the earlier posts in this thread, you will find many pictures of other junctions. Some of those junctions might work better for high-capacity lines, though yours may work well for low-traffic areas.

Them's my searchlight signals... they're a seperate grf file in the NARS download (I really ought to seperate all my grfs out for seperate downloading... I'll do that when I make a proper TTDP area for my website).Menno wrote:I like those signals, are these also from that Finnish set or can I get them somewhere?

Alright, I've got a pretty big one... Twin lines on each tunnel and/or incline; two tracks coming in from the NW, SW, SE, and four tracks in and out of the station in the NE.
Kinda empty at the moment, but I try to optimize early...

Aha. I understood this rule that straight rail must starts and ends on the some line and level.Patchman wrote:Looks impressive. But it does violate my "continuing tracks all straight" rule
