drools....... i'm having trouble using the palette in photoshop as i have cs2 and it's a bit different. The s and m set could be part of a pre/Teaser release.

So I'm guessing that's a positive??? :?

I'm using Paint Shop Pro 7, you automatically get given the correct palette upon opening the .png file.

Below is the correct LOCO palette file, you should be able to load it to any png's in your editing program.

i've "titivated" the GM and done a reverse veiw also, drawing by sratch certainly will take a while, but it's definatly worth the extra effort. I also edited the S-Set again... it looks more like stainless steel now, rather than mouldy marble

Also, thats the sort of color I would accept for the S-set, it looks nicer then the off greyish one

yep, that's what i thought too, as for the GM tho... ... it's not at the right angle, i have to redraw the whole thing, i need to view it from a higher angle, and it's going to be a pain in the a*** :x i only just realised when i started to draw the ore hoppers and compared the 2, lol, oh well, i'm hoping that there is a GM for MTS that someone could convert for me so i can "clean it up".
why are you "drawing" them, i thought their made in like 3Dmax for woteva?
because it's the only way to do it properly... it's the way the original Locomotion artists did it, and it's the way i'll do it too... incase you haven't noticed, almost any conversion or 3DSM creation looks crap until each sprite is "titivated" one by one in something like PSP. ATM all i can do is extend the E8 and repaint it in the AN colour scheme, which is what i'm doing, because i'm not going to start from scratch, that's almost impossible to do in any reasonable amount of time, lol.

Here's the standard E8 painted in AN colours, I've figured that there's no point in continuing the "real" GM until someone can give me a converted GM from MTS to edit.

Wow, so i can just use a paint like program (photoshop); to draw the basic, side, top, front, rear; I can draw these four nicely but it may take some time as i much like a good looking train

m0b1u5-0n3; how meny sides and what sides do you need? (If you need all the turning points, can you do that?, as im pritty crap at doing it; ive only managed to make a house. {my house  })

sure, i can do it, it's just a matter of when, it takes so damn long, but as you can see nothing else compares to the quality of the train

and as i keep saying, cut the quick crap, take your time, make it perfect and the result is much more pleasing 8)

and there are about 136 views (sprites) per vehicle on average, not counting the wheels (bogies), so it will take a while to make a set in loco that is original yet still fits in with the original Locomotion trains, but it can be done, so far the only train i've seen that comes close to this is in Illegal_Aliens avatar. All of scrat's NL set was to low in the game, i had to raise each sprite 1-3 pixels just to make them line up properly
