Hi. Are you planning to make the Singapore metro pack?

I've already made the Crystal Movers for SBS Transit and Changi Airport as well as the C-100 of SMRT, which you can find them in my previous posts in this thread. I'm interested in making the MRT trains of Singapore, but it is difficult to gather enough information on their exterior layouts. Only having photos are not enough to make them

Thanks for the clarifications. You may want to check out some videos on youtube for more info of their exterior layouts. :P :P

What I need to make the 3D model as well as 2D graphics are the technical drawings or diagrams showing the exact dimensions of different parts of the train, say this one:
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/ ... dition.pdf

Otherwise, I need some special techniques for taking useful photos as a reference. At first I need an end view photo taking from at least 100m away from exactly the front of the train like this one:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/londonstuff/4845724435/

Then I need a series of elevation photos taking from at least 50m away from an angle which is exactly perpendicular to the railway like this one:

There is also a Japanese site which is expertise in taking these kinds of photos:
http://homepage2.nifty.com/kakeyama/tec.htm

Taking these photos from a long distance can eliminate perspective distortion in order to get an accurate sketch. Of course, I should be very happy if someone would like to help me taking the elevation photo sets of the 2009 stock and S stock in London :D

Are you planning on doing the Metropolitan Railway electric and LUL battery locos?

Basically I will only make the trains with layout diagrams available in the official rolling stock data sheet, but I must make the brand new 2009 stock and S stock as well as the 1959 stock. It should bring more fun if the battery electric locomotive is available as well, but it's just the same problem of lacking reliable sketching references. There is no need to ask me for any rolling stocks other than those I've mentioned. I should reject impolitely if someone ask me to make something like 1903 stock

According to the progress, the 2009 stock can be finished within this week, but I find it very difficult to get enough useful sketching sources for the S stock. Also, it seems that Bombardier is quite reluctant to disclose too much detail on their technical specifications so there will also be some problems to compose the xml

I just have one more question, not a request: are you planning on doing just the refurbished vehicles or are you going to do the non-refurbished aswell?

The shape of 2009 Stock and S stock are relatively complicated so they can't be finished as quickly as those posted before. Please forgive me that I have the chance to enjoy sleeping without turning on the alarm once every 2 weeks only. Usually I won't make the same stock before and after refurbishment separately unless there are changes on the shape in addition to the color scheme.

I understand. You'll only make the refurbished stock(with the exception of the 1959 stock). Btw, you've managed to make the 2009 stock perfectly.
