Yeah. Almost all UK tram systems or LRTSs (Light Rapid Transit Systems) have only one or two types of tram. Croydon has one. Manchester one type, Midland Metro has one. Nottingham and Sheffield do as well I think.

Not really. If as Dave suggested you have the Blackpool trams as the main centrepiece and the other trams from UK systems as extras it will give people a good progression because I doubt many game players will want to run the trams like Blackpool do (ie keep them for 60 odd years). They will want to upgrade to new ones like those used on the Manchester Metrolink and Sheffield Supertram.

Actually, I made a half-baked attempt to draw one of these ages ago, but I found it all but impossible to fit the three coloured lines and then the headlights all in to an RV-sized box.
