I'd say that is the DH.94 Moth Minor (Coupe) But the only problem with saying that is that the Moth Minor had the passengers behind on another whereas the photo shows that they are next to each other

I'd say that that is a Percival P-10 Vega Gull.

This had the De Havilland Gipsy Six motor in it yet it still looks remarkably like a De Havilland made plane.

Damn you.
It is in Finnish markings run by Sweden. Finland originally obtained them from Denmark rebels who were originally given to by the British government, to essentially work against their Russian allies at the time.
So yes, you are correct.
