The station for the steel mill is quite nice and would look excellent as part of an industrial park. Now depending upon how much realism you might wish to portray, along with a possible future ability to show these stations "alive" (that is, with moving aspects) here are my thoughts:
- The yellow cranes look too new. Perhaps a bit of random wear and tear could be added in terms of chipped paint, dents within the lattice, and dirt and grease around where the cables would be moving.
- The same yellow cranes represent lateral movement too, correct? That is, they are suppose to slide along the track to load train cars? Then the rails along the whole length of the building and framework would be coated with grease with patches here and there of bare metal. The rollers within the crane would be digging into such structures and thus paint would be gone.
- The entrance / exit to the section of station that appears to be enclosed (appearance of a barn entrance perhaps) should have at least the area right above the entrance darkened with soot. Steam engines, and later diesel engines, with a full load of steel would be heavily powering the horsepower to achieve some acceleration and thus blasting exhaust.
- And for kicks on the horror side, take one of the pixel people from Michael Blunk's stations and stick part of it under a coil of steel.
Overall, excellent work!
