You captured the front and the doors of the M8 nicely but I think the side doesn't look quite right with the middle windows not being centered.
Do you think I should've made the middle section between the doors shorter to fix this?
I also finished the M8 at school today. Am I correct to belive they only come in 2 coaches, because that doesn't seem fitting for the length that they travel. My research indicates this, but I think I remember in OpenBVE they had middle carriages.
Yes there's only 2 coaches; the A and the B car.
But with regards to the side view, I was thinking the opposite, that the middle section is more important than the end parts to being recognizable and should be larger. On the O-scale model of the very similar M7 they made sure that the middle section with the six windows between the doors were accurate and they shrank the end parts.
I just noticed this today as I was coding these.
@The Growl, the standard practice is to have the north-facing image as the first sprite in the sprite sheet. https://www.tt-wiki.net/wiki/NMLTutorial/Template

Your M7 and M8 have south-facing image first.
I can work around it, but FYI.
The sprites are that way round because of pixetool, it aways does the sprites this way, for BRTrains I retemplate all the sprites anyway

I installed the beta, but when I put my trains on a test track, I noticed that the yellow was flashing, and you hadn't used the tail light versions of the trains, I will fix this issue, but I would recommend the tail light variants just for realism.

Sure, if the OP actually comes back to the project. Until then, I'm not going to make any more code changes.
It screwed up the BIOS and after we reinstalled Windows, everything was acting strange. Then we reinstalled Windows again, but this time I upgraded to Vista and I'm loving it.
Just a tough... BarbarianKabbage if You have some templates what needs to be recolored some way... US, Canada, Mexico livery, send me the sprites and Ill see what I can do.
As it summer and IRL is bit busy its a lot easier to recoloring than start from scratch!
Edit: By America (ATP) You do mean North America or just US and A?
