I originally thought that the new termini platforms would be used for the Semi-Fast services from Birmingham (stops at Warwick, H+T, High Wycombe etc), as opposed to the Fast ones (that would do it in 1h40) starting from Snow Hill according to the timetable published. It seems odd that any express wouldn't begin at Snow Hill since its far more accessible for us West and North Birmingham people.

But it would be a fantastic idea for a headline service each morning. Perhaps Birmingham, Solihull, Warwick Parkway then non-stop to London, pathways permitting? Virgin already have their headline 1h12 service, running non-stop from New Street (the one time I was on it, a LM train caught fire at Leighton Buzzard so we got into Euston 45mins late anyway...)
Any opinions expressed are purely mine and not that of any employer, past or present.

Again rumours, but that's basically the plan...

Also, Moor Street was always the preferred station for Chiltern, especially since they manage it, unlike Snow Hill. It's also prettier.

The coaches for the Chiltern LHCS will not be taken from the WSMR pool but are being bought up by DB Regio from all over the place, including some from Cargo D, supposedly.
