Re: [OTTD] Beardie27's Screenshots
Well you said you were going for realism and if you are, using brake vans really isn't realistic at all. No freight trains run with a brake van anymore (in the UK) as all the wagons used are braked themselves. In UKRS, with the arrival of the second generation of wagons, it is no longer necessary to attach a brake van as they are all brake themselved.Beardie27 wrote:Well it my railway i just thought it would nice.![]()

Re: [OTTD] Beardie27's Screenshots
I never said is was going for realism, may have said that i was going to make the corners more realistic by making them bigger.
Well at the moment i am trying to make my own version of North West England, using a height map of the area, the map size is 512x512, but maybe i should have gone bigger because i have to miss a few stops out because all the places won't fit, but i think i have done a good job so far I'll get some screenshots up once the trains are running.(still working and all the track and signals)

Re: [OTTD] Beardie27's Screenshots
wow thats a lot of money but the problem now is that my dad has deleted ttd from the computer. but i might sneakilly download it again. which is where beardie 27 comes in .Beardie27 wrote:Here is my biggest amount of money i have ever earned, its from one of my original games before i discovered GRFs and so it doesn't have any,(Except for YAPP which i just put in before the screenshot).
At the moment I am working on a really big map, i am thinking of covering a whole 1024x1024 map and that should make more than £17 Billion.
To: beardie 27 what should i do: A= download it again or B= leave it alone
i use break vans cause it looks better and i like it
and how did you get the green lorry truck parks???

I'm leaning on a lamp.

Re: [OTTD] Beardie27's Screenshots
Anyway after a while i have come back with more screenshots, this time they are different to what i have done previously, they are a bit more simpler and less crowded and maybe a bit more realistic.
I have also got some more new GRFs, the two main used here are the Canadian Train and Station Set.
Enjoy.
