I told a girl how I felt about her last week (the first time I've ever done that). She told me it meant a lot to her, and she really appreciated it, and she likes me as a friend, but I'm not her "type". I'm happy with being friends, but I'd still like more.

(Oh, and this isn't Bethan, spiff. ;))

Not my type, just wanna be friends, don't want to ruin it, i'm going out with someone else...

Are these not the most annoying phrases in the world???

BTW Lyns, thanks for the advice :)

I have to ask though, how would bethan feel about this? Even if she doesn't know how you feel about her... :P

Erm... well, as far as Bethan's concerned, we're just friends. Right now, anyway. ;)

I agree with you Raichase, all these phrases come back a little to often, if girls could have a bit more imagination when they try to find excuses, or just say no.

But when we, as girls say stuff like that, its not an excuse, most of the time its genuine. There are loads of guys who are great friends of mine, but as far as dating goes really aren't my type for one reason or another. Don't go thinking it's all a lie because thats often not the case.

i get your point, no worries, its just sometimes you dont really seem sincere thats all. Otherwise Tanya did seem sincere but just thinking about her makes me feel sad and lonely.

the point is that thinikng about her is sad ... and you feel lonely .. but you can't stop thinking about her ... whatever I do .. I have her image in front of my eyes .. but she said: 'be ONLY my friend' ... so I tried ... but this is the most difficult thing to do I've ever done .. the best idea would be to thore myself from the bridge ... but it's not a way ... so I stand like now ... and I thinking about her ....

eh, you don't know i'm young! Well, little whippersnappers, i am at the ripe old age of 17, so show some respect for the elderly...

I was talking to my "problem" and i was doing okay (i hadn't made an idiot of myself for 5 minsutes!) and then her b/f pulls up with the latest meal he cooked up at work and with his loud car... It makes me sick...

Your joking right? Your calling spiff a "little whippersnipper" (no offence spiff), when your 17!?
