Are disused stations and (more to the point) disused branches being included?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldwych_tube_station
Aldwych (Strand) is on a branch line connected only to two disused (and closed off) platforms at Holborn station (which used to be Piccadilly). There is still a train on that line, which is occasionally run up and down the branch to keep the batteries fresh. Aldwych is currently in period decor, and often used for filming. Holborn's disused platforms are used for testing purposes (lighting, advertising technology, platform work, etc).

This PDF file shows the entire network, in Harry Beck style, including all closed stations and unused branches, and all sidings and depots. Probably better for completeness!
Edited to add: I'm looking forward to seeing somebody attempt Euston station (:

Thank you for the map of the inner london trackwork. It should be helpful. In practice though trackwork may not be as it is shown in the map as sadly the size of the map we are using isnt London size! If it were, then this map would be valuable to us. Because you went to the effort of finding it for us we will use it as best we can!
Brianetta:
Thank you for the PDF!, sadly on this occasion we have not planned to add in disused tracks, like the Northern Heights e.c.t. We have considered disused stations where the trains just pass through, but we have not decided if to have them or not. Unfortunately in practice it seemed 1048^2 was not as big as we thought, and because there has to be a certain distance between cities we are running out of room.
When new graphics and features are out, more importantly the new map array we will release newer versions of Through the Tube, which will include disused track, disused stations e.c.t and will be made on a larger map. Because this is version 1, we do not expect it to be terribly good to the Harry Beck style.
Hopefully, we intend Through The Tube to be a continually ongoing project, even if nothing happens for a while, the tube is continually changing so it'd be good to have the Openttd version of it continually changing.
Version 1 may be released in about two weeks. Look out for Version 2 with completed DLR to Woolwich Arsenal! and possibly the disused central tracks from Epping to Ongar!
Euston station, lets see.. Both branches of the Northern Line and Victoria Line, can't be too hard. After all, we did manage Kings Cross and that has 6 lines!
Thank you Brianetta and Sian for your ongoing contributions!

Ukončete, prosím, výstup a nástup, dveře se zavírají
all the graphics i have drawn are included in that zip file im afraid
i did also somewhere have a map of london, including all the stations on the london connections map (to that scale, not to RL scale), and i'd briefly started work on some track but never got the time to much more on it
i may get around to drawing some more, a lot of the current stock can be quite easily based on what I've drawn already, no promises tho
and as for joining the team, i wish i could but an 8 hour day with 4 hours commuting + social life kinda prohibits that at the moment
if you guys want any help with statiuon layouts, junctions etc, i have already got a few plans for some stations, harrow on the hill being my favourite at the moment, and i also have the northern line junction north of mornington crescent finished

And on that note, the website is down for a few hours. Owen has been kind enough to sell me a years hosting, so I will be moving it to my own space, and hopefully it'll feel nicely at home there
Should be back up soon, just got to wait for DNS's to propogate

i have a few questions to ask out of curiosity. this project is one of the most advanced i have seen in amateur gaming so congrats to you all.
1) will this network be based around an ingame city?
2) will the tracks actually be underground or has nobody in the TTD world got that far?
3) if you include the thames how do you plan to go under it?
im only asking for simple answers you know what im like with jargon like this

1) Yes, we have a scenario so far that has the cities roughly where they appear on the London Underground Map
2) No, we dont yet have underground railway lines, so instead they will just be in a trench, until such a time when OpenTTD does support sub ground level lines, then we will hopefully move it underneath the ground.
3) The thames is on our map, and I though about this the other night, but then fell asleep and totally forgot to ask!, that's down to one of the other guys to answer!

Well, we have been given some train sprites, and even a few GRFS to use, through there are a few more, I've just yet to get round to making a tracking table/spreadsheet showing all the lines and rollingstock that we need, and what we currently have.
