NO JOKE

We have those machines in the wall where you can get your money from.. (geldautomaten/moneymachines).. you can use your card and your personal code to get money..
So one day I was trying to get about 10euro from it and suddenly the screen went black... next thing I saw was the bios.... I was wondering about the operating system, so I stayed and watched for a few seconds and to my supprise I saw: WINDOWS NT.... WHAHAHAHAHA
Luckily I got my card back... but no money !! :D

The best version of wine to get is winex because it has quite good directx support. The transgaming website has a pay version of winex which tends to be the best version of wine you can get.

I know, but in Lindows Wine is pre-configurated to use Win programs.

I will try Winex, but isn't free?? Argh...
Lindows isnt free either I guess... I looked at their website, you can buy .. not download :(

I've heard so many bad things about XP that it has a greater ratio than good things. As a result I'm avoiding it like the plague. WinME seems pretty crap too.

WinME = crap... its hell of a lot worse than 98. nt, 200 or xp...
XP itself is pretty good... the best microsoft product since their start....

I didn't find ME to bad, except for it's incompatibility with many a virus checker. It didn't crash on me as much as 98 and at least it never randomly reset like XP.

I find 2000 and XP about the same stability. XP has more features.

The thing you have to remember though is that people rarely point out the good things. It's like you come home from a day, and someone asks you how your day was, most people are more likely to complain about things which went wrong than talk about the things which went averagely or were a slight improvement on the day before. It's like all bad things and major good things are the things which get remembered.

That's true, but we are conditioned like that
just watch the news on tv, 25 minutes of wars and fighting
then 5 minutes at the end with some good news
it should better be the way round
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

Apparantley someone found the enddate of the world in the Bible
It will end in 2006
He used a complex mathematical search and found several things that have come thru
The Bible predicted the terroristic attacks of november !
Weird isn't it ?

You mean the bible code? It could also be a statistical fact that if you have a whole bunch of text, then you get any kind of words you want out of it.

That's true, but they used it on others books too
'Piece and war' by Tolstoj didn't contain anything
they admit it's very strange that the bible predicts so many things !

The bible has predicted the end of the world about 10 times now.... only 2 years ago at 31 december 1999 was the world supposed to end... now its in 2006 again...
I wouldn't count on it if I were you.... :D

Its said you can make statistical information (strings of text in this case which try to relate to current events) match anything if you really wanted to.
