WEll insanely enough I started a game with high industry count on a 10x10 map. And I found this, 3 ore mines at the bottom of a mountin, and 3 ores mines and a factory on the top... Such a conondrum.... Take the top 3 and pay more to widen land for a station, or pay less and take the bottom 3, but have no factory access for returning steel...

Here was my decision.

I thought i's nice to see a widely used junction as it evolves over time.
Its the most busy part of the network I bult to test pbs.
It started as a flat pbs-block [though I've lost the savegame, so no screenshot for this], then as more trains were added, it became a simple cloverleaf.
[and stayed like this for years]
Then I realised that realistic acceleration was killing it, so I tore it apart. Enjoy:

2002. Where did the cloverleaf go? MUCH better flow. ;)

Added another indipended line to ease the main junction a bit. (~70 trains going through)

HEre's just a sneak peak of my artic game right now. The climb was treacherous so I made it a bit smoother. Even realistic acceleration can only do so much. :)

If I can figure out how to take a screenshot from my pocketPC, I would be able to post a screenshot from my current game (I play the OTTD ported to PocketPC)

Donnu if it works on the PocketPC but you can press on the '?' icon at the top keep it pressed and select 'Screenshot (CTRL+S)'.

Here's some images of my first successfull game ever.
Althoguh there are some major problems, such as the mainline getting clogged up. I'm only running about 65~ trains, my station is handling them okay, but my mainline is not.

I think i could use some major help on this :)

Just loaded your savegame.
The cloverleafs are just killing the line.
The same with the eventual merging of the track to just one before it splits again for the station entry.
I'll try sth 2morrow and see what will happen. :)

Now your network flows a bit better. ;)

For pbs, you should download the build from this topic. Make sure you also read the instructions, too. ;)

EDIT: Added my brother's indipendent solution. ;)
