Don't worry about not having all the industries, the mega-pack makers are careful to make sure that all their packs include all of the industries.

There is, and if there isn't (for extra industries and such) there are other cars that carry those goods.

I didn't have any time to play it for a long time either and have more interesting things to do in my pastime, but it's still fun to play it.
Me like screenshots too, so the more the better!
The problem is that Lomo is too limited.

It doesn't allow as many stations and bridges as OpenTTD allows, also, You can't play it in a window (only fullscreen).

The solution could be to create a fork from OpenTTD, but It is not something easy.
Sorry if my english is too poor, I want learn it, but it isn't too easy.

As far as i remember, that's an option when you install the game.

Good to see this thread active again. I've got loads of screens from a game I played ages ago, on a map of the East Midlands in the UK. I think I might post a few each day in chronological order to show how the game developed, so let me know if you like what you see. ;)

It is small, but if you look carefully you will notice:

first screen: US and English road, English names, US houses, US station

Second screen: A brewery, US boxcars, right-side signals, US houses, US station

Third screen: Redundant crossover track, US station

Fourth screen: US houses, A brewery, An on-land oil wells

Fifth screen: A brewery, US houses, US boxcar

Sixth screen: US houses, English coaches, A caboose

I will allow you to decipher where it is by yourself :P

Looks lovely! Especially the second screen, very good idea to use the platform turned 90 degrees, but where did you get those trees from? Something I miss are better trees in this game. I always want to make it as realistically as possible, you do it like that too. :)
You're using your own steam loco pack right? And the stations are from the new British station pack which link I've lost?

Glad you like :D The trees are just the default ones in the game, there is just lots of them planted next to each other. Either I was very bored or more likely they are there to get permission from the local authority to bulldoze my way through their city to build my big station. ;)

Yeah the trains are my MSTS conversions that are available for download, at the station bits are the British stations but slightly modified. I removed the yellow line on the platform as that's a modern thing, and the station canopy was something I made myself using graphics from the default alpine station from the game. This game is a mixture of mods to make it look as realistic as I can, you probably noticed the German buffer stops in there too.

Really? It really looks like as if the single tree on the right and on the upper left are different though, or is it just that I haven't played the game enough lately? Does planting trees really work? I often come across that I bulldoze half the town away and can't ever get permission back, is that solvable by planting trees? That would be the most major trick I've come to know about locomotion in ages.

Would making those gantries double signals affect the trains' routes negatively? I see why one would want to do it that way, but I only do it like that when it's at the other angle because otherwise that hole is visible

Trees are giving you town reputation, and as far i know every signal does the same, whatever they look like.
