New Graphics - Blender ".blend" thread (Works In Progress)

@brupje: Heyyy that looks cool! Always good to see more nice houses grow... umh, does the hedge have no exit? sleeping beauty?
And maybe I'd look for some bump-map for the main wall? (is it wood-planks, or stucco?)
edit: oh I just saw the exit ... strange, when I first looked at the picture I didn't see it ... anyway, maybe they'd like an exit at the asphalt floor so they don't have to walk through mud when it rains, but I see it's not there in the original ...

Agree with Aracirion about the asphalt exit. And the grass looks weird, but you are not using blender, right? thats why you are not using the official grass, am I correct?brupje wrote:Country house 2
except for the grass it looks great!

Perhaps a bit cramped, but sure, I see the way it is in the original

brupje: The country house is very good, although the second one appears slightly green. Is this reflectiviety? I prefered the more clean white that you used in the first one.
Its a very acurate remaking of the original, except there appears to be no blue paint at all, is there any reason for that?. I love all the vedgetation, and the small set of wooden stairs and plant pots gives a definate fealling of it being a seaside house, wich is a good way to make the small size of the building seem fitting.
I to, when first looking at it, thourght there was no gap in the hedge. The stepping stone slabs makes it a lot clearer though.

The texture I used is actually blue, I'll try to fix it to white again.Ben_Robbins_ wrote:brupje: The country house is very good, although the second one appears slightly green. Is this reflectiviety? I prefered the more clean white that you used in the first one.

In the original they used blue to define edges like windows and walls, not because it looked good. I figured I could get away breaking with the original on that point

The hedge is more yellow now. It was hardly distinguishable from the grass. That's why the grass looked 'weird'.

update. I think I will wait with runway/etc. until we know what the exact airport layout will be.

hmm the airport looks better now, still not happy with grass and the runway but i guess that is not the point here, the fuel thing (or water tank) could be little bit bigger imo but its nice:)
