After thinking of all kinds of stations round Liverpool, Glasgow etc, it suddenly struck me that it could be Sunderland. Not sure though.

Ah, your curiousity has served you well, it is Sunderland!

This station has both light rail (Metro) and heavy rail serving the same platforms (albeit different parts of the same platform).

The couple of clues in the picture were just inside the door, where there was a Metro next stop diagram on the wall. Also, just above the door, theres a little rail symbol pointing towards platform 4. A bit cryptic, but it makes sense if you think about it logically.

Wooo, I was right!! :D That one got me quite confused at first.

Anyway, try this, I don't know why I didn't think of this before, it's one I took and quite good for this game:
