I don't think this is ok, but it's only in test phase!

You do have that yourself, it is made by grfcodec the first time you used it and is called trg1r.bak. Just rename it to trg1r,grf and you're in business.

Comments About the Bridges:
I think we mostly agree the white bridge is too white. This seems to be a problem not just here - some of the new airports peope have been doing are also too white. Take a look at a building painted white sometime. Does it actually look snow-white? No, its sort of a very light gray. And around the corner it is a darker gray.
Maybe you could take the grey suspension bridge, and use a "lighten" tool in a graphics program to make it several shades lighter, but not all the way lighter.
-------
I think you will have the concrete bridge I am looking for if you paint the sides medium grey instead of red. It looks fine as it is except for the color.
-------
I know you kept the old wooden bridge. I HATE and have always hated that bridge, not because it's so darn slow per se, but because it is butt-ugly and looks like no bridge I've ever seen. I understand its sprites are different and perhaps we are restricted as to what would fit there, but I truly believe it needs to be something else.

Big Comment about the Industries
I see we are still working on the industries and running into restrictions because the toyland industries are too simple. For instance, the Livestock farm looks great but too repetitive, but we're stuck with that because that's the way the Toyland industry works?
NO, we aren't. Owen is figuring out a way for us to use ANY of the industries for ANY environment. SO all you need to do is go to one of the other environments, find an industry with the sprites laid out in a way that you think matches the industry you want to draw, and draw it that way. The sprites do NOT have to fit in the Toyland schema necessarily.

That wooden bridge can become something else but not what you were suggesting to make from those bridges!

There isn't a grey suspension bridge in the sprite file, it is maroon and recolored in the gamekrtaylor wrote:Comments About the Bridges:

Terminology:
The maroon colors are recolored, all the other colors are the same for all 3 bridges!

Message to the Patch-Starter Team
I just noticed the new "Night" graphics schema over in another thread. It looks great, but some people don't like it that well, and in order to put TTD back the way the want it, they have to reinstall the whole game, and then individually their preferred graphics packages, to get things back the way the like them.
That's why I do think we need the "select environment" feature. East Asia will be one, Night would be another, and who knows what else will come along. It's getting far too complicated to do it manually; it will save a lot of work if we can establish some standard way of listing what needs to go where that can be handled automatically, and then put back afterward.
I know you're very busy. East Asia won't be done for a while yet, and neither will that patch. But I do think we need to be thinking about it and planning about it now.
Thanks.

OK Dinges, I understand. Let's see if the wooden bridge can become something else, whatever fits and looks good.
I understand the trouble with the red bridge. Would it be possible to work from a screenshot of the original grey version, do you think?
