I also think this topic should be in the graphics section.

I think you meant to do this:

Which bit of the image are you referring to? I see SAC's trees, UKRS (I think?), TTRS3, some station GRF (PGS?), new foundations (I think those are SAC's, too), new grass (I have no idea what GRF that is), and the fences are removed (no idea about that one either).

SAC's trees are stolentrees.grf, or are in the latest release from SAC's landscape pack, which also includes foundations.

TTRS3 is on grfcrawler.

The station is Aegirs country station, and is the blank platform tiles.

The fences being removed may simply be the use fiddling with the detail settings, although I believe there IS a grf around.

SAC released a landscape GRF, with the pylons and the light posts replacing the transmitters and the lighthuoses respectivly, and the new foundations are included in there.

It is a proper release, and can be found in her thread.

Download it, it might have paramaters for turning off the other things.

Otherwise, simply download a GRF that replaces the objects you don't like and place it below the landscape grf, so you only get the foundations. I imagine you could knock up a grf to put back the original lighthouse/transmitter if you really wanted to.

But check the original grf, iirc it has paramaeters

Hi, I'm looking for grf, which bring snow to temperate, but not with arctic sprites like on this picture:

You want Michael Blunck's Alpine climate which can be found at his site http://www.ttdpatch.de in the downloads section.

I already have Alpine.grf (I'm actually using it), but it's basically an arctic climate with temperate sprites. If I want to have temperate grass in arctic I could also use grassconversion.grf, so that's not the solution. As far as I know there's only ECSTown.grf which adds snow to temperate with temperate sprites, but it'll block all other industry on the map. Of course I can use other ECS graphics but honestly I don't like it, so this isn't solution too. :(

So you're looking for a .grf that gets rid of the artic tiles when bringing snow to temeperature and just that. No industries or anything else?

No extra industries, just original industry chain for temperate climate. The problem is, if you use Alpine or grassconversion grfs and some other grfs with sprite containing grass, you'll get a simular result:

It would be great if someone could make grf for temperate with almost same effects like Alpine.grf.

I think the attached GRF should do what you're asking. It only contains the snow tiles though, so you'll need to use http://www.ttdpatch.net/src/newgrfdemo/snowline.grf as well to actually enable snow in temperate.

Thanks, that will do it. :) Unless there is grf with snowy trees and snowy buildings on snow squares. :P Of course not Alpine.grf, which is great don't get me wrong, but however it's basically arctic.

Sorry to interject, but Michael is intending on Alpine being a temperate snowline grf, IN temperate, but it's still in development stages. As it can get temperate grass in arctic, I guess the experiment stage is complete, and he's focusing on other, more pressing projects in the meantime.

But yes, what you want, snow in temperate, is the end goal of Alpine, from what I gather on his website.

I see, thanks for info, Rai.

There's not only one, by the way. CSRailSet have parameter for fences, which allow no fences, owner markers, new fences and original TTD fences. See added pictures:
