No, I'm planning to return to the very beginning of a Soviet airplane industry. I think that "Stal'-2" will be the next one.

Re: Airplane Models by Werminaard
Hi all!
Sorry for the long-long delay from the last plane.
Actually, I've made a new model of a plane - Boeing 737-800, a KLM version. Here is the render of a model. If anyone is interested in this plane, tell me and I'll make a Locomotion file.

Re: Airplane Models by Werminaard
Here we go.
Please find the requested DAT file for the 737-800 attached.
Unfortunately, I don't have XP-based computer now, so I can not check the file in the game - LoMo is not supported by bloody Vista. Please, test the file and in case of any bugs tell me, I'll fix it. Yes, and can you be so kind to paste here a screenshot from the game with this airplane?
Please note, that this DAT file has some bugs. Look for the new version in the posts below.

Re: Airplane Models by Werminaard
Being honest, that was the reason for me to start learning 3d Max =) It is really faster, than drawing the every sprite separately. The whole plane, from idea to DAT file usually take me about 8 hours. Unfortunately, I'm not a professional in this program.EXTspotter wrote:I wish that my planes for OTTD looked as good as that!

Locomotion (like many other programs) is not supported on vista... but that doesn't mean it won't run.Werminaard wrote:Here we go.

I run lomo, along with quite a few other programs perfectly fine on vista x64. So you should be able to run it on your computer.

What is the way to run it on Vista? It is not installing at all. May be I should try to install it on a normal XP computer and then just copy it to my fkVista-based?Hammo wrote:

Uhm, i think there's a visual bug - the blue pixels on the edges. I think that's what happens if you don't enable "Don't antialias against background" option.

Damage, many thanks for your comments and help!
Here is a new version of DAT file.
Fixed:
- blue pixels on the plane's edges
- cost of purchasing
- years of availability

I do have UAC turned off, if it makes any difference. But to install and run it, I didn't have to do anything you wouldn't in winXP

Re: Airplane Models by Werminaard
Hi all.
Here is the next model. It is Boeing Model 314 Clipper. Due to the fact, that it is a flying boat and has no chassis, its landing to the normal airport will look a little bit strange. Anyhow, I've heard, that some of the users are going to try to make a water airport for those types of flying vehicles like this one, so I'm still planning to make a DAT filу for this wonderful luxuries airborn liner.

I just downloaded these but there are just two paint schemes: Cubana and Aeroflot. But good work.

Re: Airplane Models by Werminaard
I have checked the file - there are three paint schemes for sure. Note that at this scale the only difference between Dalavia and Aeroflot is the color of tha tail logo - soviet flag (red) for Aeroflot and blue Dalavia logo for Dalavia respectively. The Tram man wrote:I just downloaded these but there are just two paint schemes: Cubana and Aeroflot. Take a look at the "Screenshot3_forum.jpg" in my previous message =)
