Anybody here know a sport called 'cricket'?

The best is beach cricket, it's fun cos the ball can't bounce, and you can't run. Or, when you play it with a big ball (like them plastic 99p footballs) it's fun cos you can hit it really hard, and it doesn't go anywhere too far (it sucks when you play and people hit it hard and you spend the whole time on your own out on the field). Just makes it that bit more fun!

I agree. It's fun to watch cricket, but not to play it. It's really fun to watch informal cricket, and really really fun to play it

Oh yeah...when I've been thinking of watching I've been thinking of TV! I'd forgotten about the countless summer days I've sat down the local cricket field, it's great! You take food, a radio (they usually play on saturday afternoons, the same time as Rock'n'Roll Football, which ruled back in it's day, haven't heard it lately, and of course mates!) Wow! Forgotten memories or what?

But back about cricket... Well, it's always good to go down... er, up to the SCG to watch a game. So long as it's not a test match... do you know how hot it gets there

Yes, i find one dayers to be most exciting. Tests require you to remember stuff and so forth

Yeah... and there played during the day... usually a hot day in the middle of summer... but onedayer are good
