But I couldn't get it running with DevkitPro.

I was just thinking about this right now. Prefer the x2 (as opposed to x1 or x4) by default? Working with only the bottom as a viewport (which is really the only realistic option, since you need the 'mouse' options for the viewport) as above shows that x1 is a bit unworkable.

And as mentioned above as well, one must remember that we only have 4MB of working RAM, so many of the bigger map sizes are unreasonable.
