Tunnel Graphics Project [just started]

Discuss, get help with, or post new graphics for TTDPatch and OpenTTD, using the NewGRF system, here. Graphics for plain TTD also acceptable here.

Here's my point-two cents worth:

In real life, tunnel portals are dug uot of the rock, the earth doesn't come out to the tunnel. (No accusations intended or wanted or inferred, etc)

Is it possible to build tunnels with different portals, depending on year?

Can something be done about road tunnels? They're just plain terrible graphics! (the original ones)
