@krtaylor

Two magic words: Night Shift! :wink:

I released the B707 in German Cargo Livery on Page 89 or 90. I just reposted it.

Its just recoloring. Drawin something new is much more work. :wink:

Well, by the time the coders free up in July, I bet we'll have all the liveries we could want at this rate!

@ PikkaBird,

I would really appreciate an enhanced airport set. If I may make some suggestions:
- regarding the helicopter, isn't it possible to make a special heli pad at an airport. So they do not jam the runway. A helipad on top of the terminal might be nice.
- about the lay out, the 4x4 and 5x4 seem very practical. I have only one cosmetical advise though. If someone is able to build new airport, could he or she please make the jetways connect to the left side of the aircraft and not the right side as it is at the current large airport. This to increase the reality. I do not know why in real life jetbridges connect to the right side, but I have never seen an airport where that is doen on the right side. I guess it has something to do with the cargo doors of aircraft.

I wish I could help in the drawing but I do not have time, let alone the knowledge to do so. So good luck to anybody who will start creating those airports.

Ciao MD-11

Drawing new airports isn't the problem, the trouble is coding them so they work. There's a project underway to do it, but it's an awful lot of research and coding required.

The A300 in TNT Livery is finished. The A321 in Korean Air Cargo is also finished.

I'm not sure about these last three, the shading doesn't look right. They should be darker on the side away from the sun, which is the left side.

@taylor

I have just changed the color. When the shading is not correct than the CC shading is also wrong.

I dunno. Maybe the CC one isn't well shaded on the fuselage either, but it's less obvious because its color scheme is darker? Yours have much lighter-color fuselages. The left side of the fuselage should be visibly darker than the right side, because the sun's on the right. Does anybody else have thoughts?

@Taylor

I think I know what you mean. I will change that. I forgot to change the Korean white belly and the orange Stuff on the TNT Livery.

The White Livery is exactly the same just white instead of grey/blue.

Umm, I'm not totally sure what you're asking here. Are you asking if there will be more than one livery for the AN-124?

The AN-124 wasn't drawn like the others, it was computer-rendered. We could ask for another livery I suppose, but there aren't very many AN-124s, and probably not very many different liveries. Can you post a photo of one you'd like?

What about having An-225 Mriya as a refit for the Ruslan? There is only 1 AFAIK, but it's certainly an impressive one. Would probably look funny carrying grain tho.

Same question: Beluga, anyone? Those would be REALLY useful cargo planes...

There's no space for additional designs and I don't think it's possible to change all plane parameters by refitting. Beluga was ditched because it was only for low weight, high-volume cargo which isn't important in TTD.

Well, the only differences would be design (which off course is changeable), capacity(also changeable) and running cost(which I doubt is changeable).

Was just an idea anyway.

And the Beluga was just a quick idea, u're right, i didn't think properly before posting.

Spaceball: the TNT plane misses one circle in the - views, it's a pretty distinctive omission if you compare it to the other views. I think you already tried to get the 3 circles on the side but found no fit for them, right?

Yes I tried it with three circles but it looked much better with two circles. It was too big with 3 circles. I have taken a look and I would say it looks like two on the other views. When I redow it I will also take a look on this.
