any opinion on http://wiki.openttd.org/index.php/New_GFX ? Would it make sense to incorporate the forum-sticky for new artists into this page? Is it desirable to have a seperate new-highres-graphics page at all?

i don't understand what you mean by "seperate new hihres garaphics page" all the graphics at that page should be high-res already.

Do you think it looks finished? Or is something to do?
Might be nice to have some sort of path to the front door, gravel or something. Other than that it's pretty much spot on!

I can't tell the difference between that new page and the current GFX development page tbh. Unless there are not meant to be any.

the old page also has some grf stuff, and my main intention was to set out the specifications more clearly on the new page after we had some rather long discussions here.

the better option would to move the old stuff out, and keep the new stuff where it was.

your pages is nice, if that could be moved over to the original page, and the GRF stuff moved to your page it would be best.

no need IMO to split it all up.

p.s. the old page had 1 link or perhaps 2 links to GRF stuff, they are not such a huge issue.

i had originally set up that page and linked to it from the front page in order to have the new 32bpp graphics very easily accessible, i don't quite understand where yours now fits in that, if not on the original page.

i do like yours better.

I quite like Red*Star 's UFO. The xcom ones are all grey (or brown if you go into Apocalypse), whereas the one rendered is nice and purple, and it wouldn't be out of place in a new version of xcom.
(oh, if you want to try the original Xcom game - http://www.abandonia.com/games/38/downl ... nknown.htm ;) )

I also like Killer 11's interceptor (I'm assuming it's the one that blows up the UFO) though I think there are a few too many pointy edges. Might look better zoomed out though (as the player will see it).

I thought each station would be a seperate element, hence modelling the whole lot. The grass isn't a plug in, it's custom geometry (also takes a lifetime to render) and I know the proportions are off but the internet hasn't been working so i've been unable to post any updates. Alltaken, what do you want me to do with the finished terminal buildings (when they arrive)?

I am confused, what is the real proportion of a tile and how big is a tile in blender? I have read 1 tile = 25m and 1 tile = 12.5m and 1 tile = 2x2 blender units? Which of these are correct if any? =P
