I wonder why anyone wants to have an Apache(Am I correct?) in a transport game.

that would be my doing...

I requested this Apache so that when people get into defending their HQ's with military vehicles, they actually have military vehicles instead of having to use their imagination.

this request was especially for kirk's server as they do that a lot

Version 1.10 is now available to download.

Changes include the replacing of the disaster helicopter with the apache, and the addition of two new aircraft, the Zeppelin NT and the Skylift 150.

Thanks to Brianetta for his determined advocacy of futuristic airships. Even if they will still be dog slow in OTTD...

I guess you could use the Skylift in place of ships in OTTD..

By the way, why does the airship make a helicopter sound when taking off? Shouldn't it be quiet, like in Planeset?

Well that's basically what it is... a ship that can cross mountains.

In what game?

The airships in av8 make appropriate engine noises (piston, turboprop and jet for the Airship, NT and Skylift respectively) in TTDP, and helicopter noises in OTTD. The planeset airships also make helicopter noises in OTTD, as apparently the newsounds for helicopters do not work correctly.

A lovely set but a good choice to go bankrupt under OpenTTD.

Any way to fix planespeed under OpenTTD, since patch not included in trunk and we are not programmers to compile? If not, please could you release a grf version special for OpenTTD with adjusted speeds x4?

Here we go again, with 1.15.

*Added Lockheed Electra (1934).
*Added Lockheed L-188 (1958).
*Added Boeing 727 (1964).

*Added ATR 72 (1989) as an optional replacement for the de Havilland DHC-8.
*Added Airbus A340 (1993) as an optional replacement for the Boeing 777.

To use the optional replacements, add up the values of the aircraft you want and set them in the second grf parameter. The values are ATR=1, A340=2. So if you want both aircraft active, your newgrf entry would look something like:

*Changed intro date on the DC3 from 1935 to 1936.
*Changed passenger capacity on the 707 from 200 to 189.
*Redesigned the graphics for the eAe Coronet 80.

There shouldn't be any difference in the aircraft available in OTTD vs TTDPatch. You will still have to choose just one of the aircraft that share IDs (DHC-8 and ATR, A340 and 777), but those aircraft have very similar stats anyway, so which one you use is really just a matter of taste.
