I was thinking that, but the wedge plow was a good interim. I may still do a rotary, but it would need to be animated to look proper.

I tested this using OpenTTD though (r2471M)
The mallet works, by the way
The three largest steam locomotives weigh over 255t, and I guess OTTD doesn't support Action 0 prop 24 (High byte of vehicle weight)?

I may be able to set it up so those locomotives will weigh 255t in OTTD.

DanMacK, you need to get Hackykid's build in order for it to work
Clicky
But be nice to the server thingy, it's slow at times

OTTD Bug - Purchasing a Pacific crashes OTTD, but the Mikado and Consolidation are fine. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue

Happens here too
But w00t! You can buy a 2-8-0, and auto-replace it to a 4-6-2, which works!
Huzzah! :D
Oh, and one more thing, the Nothern seems to be quite slow on mountains, even if compared to pacifics, is that supposed to happen?
Other than that, I'd like to urge DanMacK to draw a 4-8-2

It's probably the weight thing again - I don't know how OTTD calculates TE, but in TTDP it's a function of the weight. Thus, because in OTTD it weighs very little, it also has very little TE.

Dan, I'll have a look and see if I can work out what is different about the Pacifics compared to the other locos, that could be causing the crash.

DanMacK! jOO r0xx0rz! ARS is teh BRILLIANT!

Yeah, I had a bit of a play with it myself in TTDP, and then had an MP game of OTTD with S'kid. Nice set man, nice set.

It will?

BTW, I have spotted (and fixed) three offset errors, on the E9B, woodchip gondola and pulpwood flatcar. :) If anyone else finds any, you will let me know, right?

Yeah, and while you're at it, do a 0-6-0 or something like that, having 60 mph and 1600hp as the lowest stats isn't very sensible for small trains :P

Welcome to America!

If you're finding your trains are having too easy a time, try increasing your Freight Trains setting... I set mine to 3 (bearing in mind I usually build in the mountains!).

In the US set, the COnsolidation goes only 40mph. Are the stats different in the ARS?
