Either I am reading that username wrong, or there is a racial slur in it.
This has since been addressed. Might we end the idle chatter on the matter now?

Question: Did I make a post in the "Pretty Girls" thread confessing to being rather enamoured with Sarah Millican, and it was removed? Or was I so piddled last night I imagined the whole thing?

You made it. It's been split off (maybe in error) to the "Cousin Lovin'" thread, which was rather off topic. I will move it back.

So far W8 is running nicely, no problems, only thing that tells me I'm not actually running W7 is that everything looks a bit blockier...

Now to get all my savegames and stuff over without making a mess out of it.

Ah thanks Dave. Not a big deal, I was just thinking "I didn't drink THAT much last night did I?"

Oh how I hate writing theses. A year and a half after presenting one that gave me an engineer's degree, I've just started work on the one that has to lead me to an MEng. Two pages done after two days of hard work. Hope it speeds up soon, as two pages is roughly like 5%...

Well, it's been almost two years since I've posted... and since it was an error of judgement in this very thread that caused me to leave, it's kinda ironic that I should announce my current return here. No idea how long I'll stay now, but yeah. :)
Hmm, what should I put here...

I predominantly focus on YouTube videos and Wikipedia editing nowadays, as a certain Class 47-named user will know. :p (my channel is Lukeno52, I did do a couple of OpenTTD videos a while ago :) )

I know this is probably not the worst imaginable situation to be in, but this is how I spent my whole afternoon and it's getting on my nerves.

According to Wikipedia:

'According to Munroe, the comic's name has no particular significance and is simply a four-letter word without a phonetic pronunciation, something he describes as "a treasured and carefully guarded point in the space of four-character strings."'

I also wondered about it, and came to the same conclusion.

The guy is a bat**** insane genius and doesn't need to give us mortals no explanations.

The Meaning of xkcd
--- Licenses: GNU LGPL, version 2 or newer, code and graphics. CC-By-SA, graphics, alternatively. If you're using any, I'd like to hear about it --- Call them "track types" ---
--- Mostly inactive developer for: NuTracks - Central European Train Set --- Running/compiling for: Linux (x86) - Android - Windows (32/64 bit) ---

--- Need a file packer? 7-Zip --- BOINC - use your computing power to benefit science --- Block trackers, not ads --- Unix in dispersible pellets, the formula for the future. ---

I need to get myself a gaming computer. I am stuck using my dad's 5 year old 'gaming' laptop for the very demanding games I play, such as World of Tanks and Planetside 2. I'd keep my old desktop for Locomotion and a couple other old games, but it can't handle anything else. Plus, even my dad's laptop can't handle Planetside 2.

Judging from the age, I assume that the warranty is now off... can't you just upgrade it ?
